Nakita Guiteau is a rising freshman at The Pennsylvania State University studying International and Global Affairs with a minor in Cultural Anthropology. She aims to gain a holistic, and culturally respectful perspective of the world. Nakita is currently working with the U.S. Census Bureau to complete this years’ decennial report which mandates the House of Representatives, the Electoral College, and community funding. She believes that representation is the key to truly acknowledging everyone’s importance as citizens within a community, nation and in the world. In her free time, Nakita volunteers with the ACLU’s grassroots texting service People Power and helps with her family’s mental health facility.
