The United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) promotes industrial development for poverty reduction, inclusive globalization and environmental sustainability as stated on its website. With 170 Members as of April 17, 2019, UNIDO has three main bodies: the General Conference which includes all Members and meets every two years. the Industrial Development Board which includes 53 elected Member States who meet at least once a year and the Program and Budget Committee with 27 Member States meeting at least once a year.
